The Mission House is the place where the Scalabrinians settled in the Philippines. It is home to religious who are working in the Stella Maris (formerly known as Apostleship of the Sea), the Episcopal Commission for Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI), the Scalabrinian Migration Center (SMC), and the Scalabrini Center for People on the Move (SCPM).
Manila
Stella Maris (formerly known as Apostleship of the Sea) in the archdiocese of Manila is the first pastoral activity entrusted to the Congregation in the Philippines (1984) and it has continued with important initiatives, such as the Annual Seafarers’ Day, assistance to seafarers in Stella Maris centers and seminars in maritime schools. Quezon City
The Scalabrinian Center for the People on the Move (SCPM) is a development of previous initiatives of assistance to refugees and migrants in Metro Manila. It was a tangible sign of social action by the St. Frances X. Cabrini Province on the occasion of the great jubilee of the year 2000. It provides hospitality and preparation to migrants who are leaving or returning from abroad. It is part of the House for Migrants Network. The director Fr. Paulo Prigol, cs.
Opened on June 1st, 1993, the Scalabrini Center for People on the Move is a non-stock, non-profit organization which serves and assists overseas workers, seafarers, fishers, and refugees, without discrimination to age, gender, race, ethnic background, religion or belief.

We envision a society in which freedom of movement is guaranteed and people are not displaced by economic disadvantage or political oppression. Our mission is to help create a community of nations that respect and promote the rights of the people on the move. We dream of a society where differences are not divisive, where borders are not barriers, and where communities coexist in justice, peace and solidarity.
Manila
The Episcopal Commission for Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI) is the operative unit of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) for the care of people involved in human mobility. Since 1984 the secretary of ECMI has been a Scalabrinian missionary, currently Fr. Roger Manalo, cs.
Quezon City
Established in 1987, the Scalabrinian Migration Center (SMC) is a research center on migration from and to Asia. SMC has a documentation section, publishes the quarterly Asian and Pacific Migration Journal, conducts research projects, and organizes conferences and seminars. SMC is part of the Scalabrini Migration Study centers (SMSC) network and is currently directed by Dr. Maruja M.B. Asis.
Quezon City

Cebu City
In the early years of the Scalabrinian presence in the Philippines, the candidates from the Philippines used to make their novitiate in Loreto, Italy. A new house for the Novitiate was built in Cebu in 1995 to 1996. It opened as a Philosophy House instead in August 1996 until May 2002. Eventually, in 2004, the Novitiate Program moved there from New Manila. The current novice master is Fr. Tran Van Thiet, cs.
Cebu City
The Postulancy Program consists of about nine months of preparation before the Novitiate. It is located in the new building in Cebu inaugurated in 2010.
